Full Details About New Training Program (for 2009 Batch)

recently there was a post about stream trg regarding os,and java streams modifications by shrvn in orkut community.. so i would lik to know more about new streams available dere and a little bit of their descriptions

There is only one new stream which is Business Intelligence.

All other streams existed before. I am in touch with Shravan and he has not said anything about any more new streams.

hi chinthan,
i hav my doj in nov.but yesterday our results got published and i hav one backlog in 8th.i will be able to write the exam in nov-dec only as the exam is due on that time only.so wat should i do now.if i apply for extension stating that i hav backlog,will they consider it? is it a safe option? or should i seek extension stating some other genuine like reasons..and if i get exension will i be able to join before the supply exam results are published?? if i get the next doj when i am still awaiting the result, can i join??

one more doubt is that i heard 2009 batch doj's is till march only.so if give extension on nov..considering the 6 months of extension when will i get the doj as ther is no batches joinin after march( no recruitments for 2010 na)...pls help....

I dont know what you understand by "no recruitments for 2010" ...

You are mistaken if you think that infosys wont hire anyone in the calendar year 2010.

What they mean is that they wont go for campus interviews for the batch graduating in 2010.

Is it necessary to bring along our parents while v go for joining????My parents r in Kuwait at present....they wont b able to make it...........is it ok if my uncle or cousin cum along instead of my parents??????

lol... Its not at all necessary to bring your parents with you. Mostly all trainees come alongwith their college friends only.

is der ne difficulty for an ece guy to survive in infosys....?/

For freshers, Infosys is the clear choice.

Only your sincerity and hard work in training matters. Branch does not matter because even CS-IT people find that what they learnt in college was very little.

For 2010 pass outs, the in-hand salary you can expect is about 17-18k per month. I think the gross salary is increased to 3.25 Lakhs per annum.
